Every season, I watch this prophecy unfold at Ho’omana.
There are moments when people arrive at Ho’omana from opposite sides of the world and somehow feel as though they have been guided to the same place.
Students come from Germany, Japan, Brazil, Canada, the continental United States, and beyond. They arrive as strangers, carrying different histories, cultures, and reasons for coming. Yet within days, they often become ʻohana – family.
Some are seeking healing. Others are searching for purpose, peace, strength, or a deeper connection to themselves. Many cannot fully explain what brought them to Maui. They simply know they felt called.
The Children of the Rainbow
The teaching of the Children of the Rainbow speaks of people from many cultures, bloodlines, and life experiences coming together.
Each person carries their own story and a unique expression of humanity. Yet beneath these differences is a shared longing: to remember who we are and how we belong to one another.
Through connection and the sharing of Hawaiian teachings, people are invited to recognise the wisdom, light, and power already living within them.
What Ho’omana Means
Ho’omana means to empower or to raise spiritual energy.
The intention is not to give someone power they do not possess. It is to help them remember and restore the power that has always been theirs.
This is a place to go deeper, reconnect with peace, explore purpose, and see your own light reflected in others who have also answered the call.
Healing does not end with the individual. What we receive is carried back into our families, communities, and the wider world.
Carrying the Torch of Aloha
At Ho’omana Spa Maui, students gather to experience teachings such as Lomi Lomi and Ho’oponopono, while deepening their relationship with themselves, others, the land, and the divine.
These practices invite us to release what separates us, return to alignment, and live with greater aloha.
